2. Your Personal Data

In order to receive our services you or a nominated person must provide us with personal information such as names, addresses, e-mails and phone numbers in order to process orders and/or sample requests.

In order for us to carry out our contractual obligations to you, that being to supply you with prescription items, we must process the information you give us. This entails sending orders to your personal address and contacting your GP in order to get a prescription.

In order to provide certain services, it may be necessary for us to share personal information with third parties, such as having to discuss your order with your healthcare professional or in the instance of externally printing vital news and updates. 5.1 Hotjar

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimise this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. 6. Ordering and Samples

The Great Bear and Nightingale websites have sample request and order forms that allow you to request products from us. By using these forms you are agreeing that you are happy for Great Bear Healthcare Ltd to hold personal information about you on our database in order to supply you with the products and/or samples requested. We may contact you for feedback or research on the products supplied as part of Post Market Surveillance in compliance with MDR 2017/745

7. Newsletters

7.1 E- Newsletters

Great Bear Healthcare Ltd has a regular email newsletter used to inform subscribers about the latest news, product and service updates. Users can choose to subscribe to this newsletter on the website. This is completely at the users discretion.

E-newsletters set by Great Bear Healthcare contains cookies and other tracking technologies to enable us to evaluate the performance of the email campaign. Such tracked activity includes the opening of the e-newsletter and the clicking of links within it. This information will be used to improve future newsletter content. We use Mailchimp to send our email updates. By agreeing to receive email updates from us, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing in accordance with their privacy policy.

Users may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of the e-newsletter or by emailing marketing@gbhl.co.uk.

7.2 Postal Newsletters

Nightingale send a postal newsletter out twice a year. When you register with Nightingale you will be asked whether you want to receive this newsletter. You can opt out of this service at any point by emailing marketing@gbhl.co.uk.

Your details will be used to subscribe you to any of our newsletter programmes if you have given us your express consent to do so or for other reasons covered in the above sections.

8. Social Media

When commenting, posting or tagging on our social media platforms the user must accept the terms and conditions and Privacy policies held by each respective Social Media platform.

By engaging with social media websites you are putting your information in the public domain as we have no control or responsibility over any third party action. Take due care and attention to ensure you are not disclosing any personal or sensitive details via social media and instead look to contact us through secure channels such as phone and email.

We do attempt to moderate user generated content but are not always able to so immediately. If you do have any complaints regarding third party content on our Social Media channels we shall investigate your complaint but must iterate that Great Bear Healthcare Ltd is not responsible for any third party content that may appear on our social media channels.

9. Job Applications and Employment

If you send us information in relation to a job application we may keep it on file for a reasonable amount of time in case we decide to contact you at a later date.

If we employ you, we will collect and hold personal information on you throughout the duration of your employment. This information will only be used for purposes directly relevant to your employment. After your employment with Great Bear Healthcare Ltd has ended, we will keep your information on file for a further five years before deleting it.

When you contact us, we collect the information you have given us in order to respond to your enquiry.  We will keep personally identifiable data, such as your name and email address, so as to have a record of our communications with you and ensure we are offering a high level of customer service.
