Electronic Prescribing is an NHS Service in England that allows you to change how your GP sends your prescription for medical appliances to your chosen dispenser. If your GP can process Electronic Prescriptions, you can opt for them to send Nightingale your prescription electronically.
What Will This Mean For Me?
Electronic Prescribing is much more efficient. You will be able to get your appliances sooner as we won’t have to wait for the GP to post us your prescription. You won’t even have to visit your GP to get a prescription, it will be sent electronically to Nightingale – saving you time.
How do I nominate Nightingale as my chosen supplier?
In order for you to take advantage of the Electronic Prescription Service, you need to select Nightingale as your chosen dispenser – this is called Nomination. Nomination is very easy. Just download the Nomination form below, complete it and return to Nightingale, 3C Robins Drive, Bridgwater, Taunton, TA6 4DL.
