Great Bear was previously known as Sigma Healthcare and has been in the Urology market for 10 years. Sigma Healthcare has been dispensing patients' continence requirements during this 10 year period. A substantial portfolio of all continence products has been supplied to patients and as a result a wealth of experience has been gained.

Along with the name change came serious investment into the company in terms of a brand new head office, manufacturing unit and a dedicated sales team covering the UK.

Great Bear has launched a range of continence products manufactured largely in the UK which are made to the highest quality standards using superior medical grade materials. Great Bear continues to dispense prescribed urology products under the Nightingale brand (please click on the above 'Nightingale Nurses' tab for more information).

Great Bear has attained full accreditation for the highly recognised quality standard ISO 9001:2000 & ISO 13485:2003 and all products are CE marked in accordance with the European Directive 93/42/EEC. All sterile processes are assessed for sterility by a MHRA-accredited regulatory body.

We are committed to continuing our fast and efficient service levels and will now also be in a position to offer locally manufactured continence products.
